As soon as I hear his voice I get put to sleep. I hate to be a dick, but I kinda wish these beats were given to some other rapper. If this was an instrumental album I’d love it. Even his flow and delivery aren’t really pulling me in. I feel like I’m just gonna keep repeating myself for every track. This hook isn’t really doing much for me. Maaaan… I’m tellin’ yall, the fucking proDUCtion on this album is absolutely heavenly. I don’t know how much I’ll be returning to it since I really just like the beat and hook, but it’s still dope to me.

Whatever Mac says kinda just goes in one ear and out the other. Everything I said the first verse applies to the second one as well. I wasn’t really that impressed by it, but it wasn’t bad. I’ve heard a lot of great things about this track, so maybe I’ll actually end up enjoying it. I’ve just been super depressed and I haven’t felt like doing anything, but I’m feeling better right now, so here we go. It’s not just this album tho. I haven’t listened to a single new song as an adult. Gotdamn… I haven’t worked on this review in like two weeks. I just don’t know if I’d wanna come back to it personally. I really love the production & Bilal sounds fantastic on the outro. Why didn’t he just have Bilal do all the singing? Fuck, man. I know this is kinda fucked up to say, but I hope he releases an instrumental version of this album. I guess this is gonna be one of those albums where the only thing I’m really interested in is the production. Nothing about it was really bad, but his vocal tone was pretty boring, and there weren’t really any standout lines. As far as the production goes, this track is dope af. This is probably one of the best instrumentals I’ve heard all year. He’s already repeating the word “ love” over and over again. I’m sure the whole album won’t be too sappy… Okay, yeah I was wrong. So, I guess this whole album is gonna be about relationships and shit, huh? That’s bad news for me… Y’all know I don’t like love songs. I’m a big fan of Larry Fisherman, so I’m kinda disappointed that Mac didn’t handle any of the production himself, but I guess it’s not that big of a deal. I’m expecting this to be alright I guess. The songs average about 5 minutes and 20 seconds each. I hope this review doesn’t take too long. There are only 10 tracks, but this album is 52 minutes long. I remember people really liking that Dang! track tho. I haven’t really seen anyone else talk about this project. I remember really liking the production, but that’s pretty much it from what I can remember, and I personally value lyricism over production, so it had very little replay value. I guess that’s why I haven’t gone back to it. Mac Miller is just super uninteresting to me as an MC. It’s just been sitting in my iTunes catching virtual dust. I remember enjoying GO:OD AM a lot when I first heard it, but I literally haven’t gone back to that album a single time since I reviewed it. I really don’t know how I’m gonna feel about this album. at what he does.This album was released on September 16th this year.
